WiFi Analyzer Last updated 19 August 2026 These terms govern your use of the WiFi Analyzer Android app (“the app”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, uninstall the app. The app WiFi Analyzer is a network diagnostics tool. It reads the radio and connection on this device and runs measurements you start, such as speed tests, ping, DNS, traceroute, coverage walks and a local-network device scan. Every number shown in the app comes from a real measurement on this device. Where Android cannot report something, the app says so. It does not invent a reading. Licence We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own diagnostic use. WiFi Analyzer Last updated 19 August 2026 This policy describes how WiFi Analyzer (“the app”) handles information on your Android device. It is written to match what the app actually does. If that ever changes, this policy will change with it. What stays on this device There is no account. Scan history, speed results, coverage maps, device names and your settings are stored in a local database on this phone. Widgets read a small snapshot of the last measurement so they can update without waiting on the network. Android backup, if you use it, may include settings; measurements stay in the app’s own storage until you delete them. What can leave the device Four things can leave the device: Anonymous usage events go to Firebase Analytics so we can see which features people use.
